Privacy Policy

The same standard we apply to factory pricing applies to your data: no hidden collection, no undisclosed third parties, no selling of information. This page states plainly what we collect and why.

Effective: 16 July 2026 Last updated: 16 July 2026

The Short Version

  • We collect only what you type into our enquiry form: business email, company name, and (optionally) the product you are enquiring about.
  • We use it to answer your enquiry and to send factory profiles. Nothing else.
  • We do not sell or rent your data, and we set no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time: oscar@venturavn.com.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by 21 Ventura LLC ("Ventura", "we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What We Collect

We collect personal data in two ways, and only these two.

Information you give us

When you submit our factory profile request form, we receive the information you enter into it:

  • Business email address (required), so that we can reply to you.
  • Company name (required), so that we can verify you are a trade buyer before releasing confidential factory information.
  • Product of interest (optional), so that we can route your enquiry to factories that make what you need.

If you email us directly, or send specifications, drawings, or CAD files as part of an enquiry, we receive whatever those messages contain. Please do not send us personal data you do not want us to hold.

Information collected automatically

This site sets no cookies of its own. We run no analytics, advertising, or visitor tracking. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which include your IP address; when you submit the enquiry form, our form provider likewise receives your IP address as part of the submission. The third-party providers described in Section 4 receive your IP address as a technical necessity of serving files to your browser.

3. Why We Use It, and Our Legal Basis

Under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation we must state a lawful basis for each use of your data:

Purpose Legal basis
Responding to your enquiry and sending the factory profiles you requested Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Agreeing and exchanging a mutual NDA before releasing confidential factory details Steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Managing an ongoing sourcing project and the resulting factory contract Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Keeping our site secure and available Our legitimate interest in operating a functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f))
Meeting tax, accounting, and other legal obligations Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We will not add you to a marketing list on the basis of a factory profile request.

4. Who Receives It

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. It is shared only in the following circumstances:

  • Partner factories. Where you ask us to obtain a quotation or arrange a contract, we pass the details necessary to do so — typically your company name and the technical requirements of your enquiry — to the relevant manufacturer in Vietnam. We tell you which factory before we do this.
  • Web3Forms. Our enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, which receives what you submit and relays it to us as email. It acts as a processor on our instructions and does not use your data for its own purposes.
  • Our email provider. Enquiries arrive as email and are stored in our business inbox.
  • Vercel. Hosts this website and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses.
  • Professional advisers and authorities. Where we are legally required to disclose, or need advice from accountants or lawyers bound by confidentiality.

Third-party content on this site

To display this website correctly, your browser loads styling and font files directly from Google Fonts (Google LLC) and the Tailwind CSS CDN. Making those requests necessarily discloses your IP address to those providers, who may log it. We do not control that logging. Neither provider sets advertising cookies through this site, and we receive no information back from them.

5. International Transfers

Ventura is a United States company operating on the ground in Vietnam. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, understand that the data you send us is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, and — where your enquiry requires it — shared with manufacturers in Vietnam. Neither country has an adequacy decision from the European Commission covering our processing. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the transfer being necessary to perform the contract you have requested with us (Art. 49(1)(b)). You may request details of the safeguards in place by emailing us.

6. How Long We Keep It

  • Enquiries that do not proceed: deleted within 24 months of our last contact with you.
  • Enquiries that become projects: kept for the life of the relationship, then for 6 years after the final transaction, to meet tax and accounting requirements and to defend legal claims.
  • Server logs: retained for the short period our hosting provider holds them, and not used by us for any other purpose.

7. Your Rights (EEA and UK)

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase your data where we no longer have grounds to keep it.
  • Restrict or object to our processing, including any processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Email oscar@venturavn.com and we will respond within one month. Exercising these rights costs nothing. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

8. Your Rights (United States)

If you are a resident of California or another US state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you may request access to or deletion of your personal information, and you may not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — so there is nothing for you to opt out of. Use the same contact address above.

9. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the inbox that receives your enquiry is restricted to the Ventura partners. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us bank details, passwords, or identity documents by email.

10. Children

This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Where a change materially affects you, we will contact anyone with an active enquiry directly rather than relying on you noticing the update.
